About Coulter Designs

Originally, what started out in 1984 as a small entrepreneurship to keep several Michigan farm boys busy during the slow summer months, morphed into a way to pay for university and medical school for Richard Coulter and his brother Curt. Eventually, the business grew into a major industrial contracting entity completing projects all over the Eastern U.S. Then, as a way of surviving the economic collapse of 2008, Richard took the business into an artistic contracting direction and began working with concrete, doing one-of-a-kind floors and countertops and making unique concrete products like tables, sinks, benches and eventually a unique line of lighting products. Now, with the addition of a new showroom in St. John, US Virgin Islands, Coulter Design, LLC is poised to continue raising the bar on our artistic accomplishments in Vero Beach, Florida and throughout the Caribbean.
